    The first one looks very busy to me. The bright reflections on the ground are somewhat distracting. The second one is more peaceful looking. It could benefit from opening the shadow a bit.

    I agree--the second one is far nicer. The first is busy with no real center of attention. Those sorts of scenes are very hard to photograph. They look great when you are standing there, but in a photo, they leave the viewer with no focus.

    I would suggest cropping the second one. There is too much stuff on the bottom that doesn't contribute, and the second and third trees are really the frame. I would suggest something along these lines:
