another of fall in the Berkshires

Here's another one from the Berkshires, when I was trying to get accustomed to my OM-1. This one is a single shot, no bracketing.

You've nailed it this time. The cloudy, textured sky is interesting and has given you beautiful, soft light that reveals the textures in the landscape.

The colours and the texture of the vegetation are superb. I also love the composition with a dominant foreground and a background that seems to go forever all lit by a soft and fluffy sky.

Thanks, Andre and Manfred. I took an embarrassingly large number of shots from that general area (the previous one I posted was from perhaps 40 meters away), partly because I was learning to use the OM-1 and partly because I have a poor eye for composition in landscapes. I'm about to start a major overhaul of my public facing website to remove a lot of images that I did a long time ago and that I don't consider all that good. I may put this one up.
