A common way of taking certain wildlife, bird, insect shots is to trigger the shot when the subject triggers a photodetector. Isn't this just another selfie then and the methodology should be disallowed? What about the optical triggers that are sold to trigger the camera when lightening strikes? Lightning selfies and who owns that copyright.
I really dislike things when the courts and other institutions have to waste time on this type of stuff, especially when someone is trying to make a point that really is this bizarre.
