Looks like elephant tusks to me ... very atmospheric shots ...#1 quite gripping. What disturbance of the earth causes such results.

Not exactly, I took these standing by the car, although Meteora is also a climbing paradise.

Binnur, in this case I "climbed" by car. There is a very scenic road in the area...
