Helpful Posts: As an addendum to the previous post about Roche Perdrix Roche Perdrix Jasper National Park, I thought it might be interesting to post an image of Roche Miette.
For the early travelers this was bit of a pain to get around. In spring due to the the Athabaska River in flood rushing past the base and in winter due to large bits of snow /ice/rocks falling off the top and sides. The main highway goes past the base to the right but on landfill that gets the road away from the hazardous bits.

Perhaps you are right I did darken the sky and perhaps more cloud detail will work.

Oh, that is glorious. The light and the tones are wonderful.
I'm not so sure about putting more structure into the sky. I see it as very much the 'supporting act' to that rock face and I wouldn't want to turn the sky into something that was competing with the rock.
