A Tiny Toad
Found this little fellow in a mowed barley field. A sort or brick red color. I have no idea of the ID.
I wanted to get a bit lower but the barley was about 8 inches deep and I couldn't find a position where the critter was not obscured so an overhead was the best I could do.

Re: A Tiny Toad
Definitely a frog, not familiar with FLA herps so size would help, as would another angle (if possible). First thought was a wood frog but I don't believe they go that far south, so perhaps some kind of chorus frog.

Re: A Tiny Toad
This one is actually in England on the Beds/Bucks border.

I am not looking to nit your shot but I like the colour of the frog against the background...you'd go anywhere to take a shot, will you?
So is this on your property over there?

Re: A Tiny Toad
Nope, not on our property which is a flat in a nearby town. It is occupied by another family member at present so we decided to stay on a farm for a week or so. It's called Hyde Farm and is very pleasant to date with lots of picture opportunities.
Saturday a baloon race went directly overhead.

I need to work on this one a bit.

Nice capture. Can't help with the Id though.
