Wow! He's loaded down and doing his job well!
Another great capture David.
This one made me realize, it's a good thing bees don't get allergies. Look at it's nose!![]()
I just wonder about a 90 degree rotation?
Going by the wing veins it looks like a honey bee to me.
Thank's Dave, I have never thought about that, a Bee with hay fever![]()
I prefer the new rotation as well as the increased detail captured in highlights of the pedals.
Thanks mate, don't you just hate it when someone else, (Geoff) is right!![]()
Cheers John![]()
Superb clarity.... really awesome; what is that orange skin like growth?![]()
That's what makes it such a good forum Dave!![]()
Cheers bud, that's the pollen it collects from the flowers![]()
How pastes it the body? smearing with any fluid?
If you look at the flower you can see its tongue, it collects the pollen this way and I think the pollen is sticky anyway, then sticks it to its legsOur Geoff will know if I am wrong

Super image David , I too prefer the rotated version![]()
Thank you Binnur, yes I tend to agree!![]()
Another great shot, David, of which I have not seen the like before. Maybe they hand out performance-related bonuses at his hive.
Superb David, I liked the original but preferring the edit due to the enhancement of the pollen stuck to the bee.
We still have a total lack of critters here and having got the macro bug yesterday after a search around the place found nothing.
Cheers, Grahame
Awesome shot!
