Driftwood C&C
I am of mixed minds about the high reflectivity from the rain accumulating in the hollows. Fifty percent of the time I love it , Fifty percent I hate it. Not much I can do as at the time I had no polarizing filter and the only dry thing within 200 metres was my sock inside my gumboot. I had fears about the camera as I had no rain cover for it and things where getting quite wet. So it was shoot and stuff it under my jacket. Then split before I died of hypothermia
I tried various crops but I finally settled on no crop at all to get the full sweep with all the bends and textures. I am interested in any versions by others. Or different post processing.
My version

The original straight out of camera. For people to do their own thing. A useful learning tool for me. Purposely shot dark to reduce the water glare. I knew I could recover the shadows

A great range of tones and textures making it quite interesting to explore.
I could play with different post processing effects but I doubt I could make it better that what you have here Trevor.
Very nice!
