Very, very nice, Sharon. I like the colors, the softness, and the feelings it evokes. I'm sure it's different for everyone, but it's a wonderful image.

Oh the trials and tribulations of dust and sensor cleaning!!

Seriously, more class from one of our most original souls here. I never fail to be taken by your productions, Sharon (and I have just spent ages visiting your flickr site too). You are truly inspirational.

Not always that keen on plain white borders but it works here. Has the look of a fine art print. Another I could live with.

In Boston we call that a wintery mix... wind, sleet, and snow. No hat, hood or umbrella can offer protection from the sideways pelting of the sleet.

Looks like a beautiful painting, you should print and hang it!

Wow..another winner...Sharon..do u see Black and white and work from there? I mean..when you see a scenery or lets say an image, what happens? I'd love to know or at least understand your thinking a little..when u see an oppertunity...what goes off in your mind???? what is your process? So many of us want to get our feeling into our images..but to be honest..you're one of few.

Thank you guys..you are forever generous!

    Claudio..that's a helluva question..let me think.

I don't think it is anywhere nearly as considered a choice as you give me credit for. I shoot whatever seems attractive to me and I shoot all of the time...out of car windows..wandering through shopping malls..I have a camera on me 24/7...it is on my bedside table just in case the light in my room and on my drapes catches my eye when I wake. Or if my husband casts a pleasing shadow ( poor man!)

When I look at my images on PC then I will push them to the limits..high contrast..low key..extremes that tell me whether the shot is worth working up and I bin a lot.

The world is heart wrenchingly beautiful..the lines, the colours, the tones, the shades, the half smiles and the sadness, the total joy and the utter wretchedness of the human condition.

How can anyone fail to want to capture that?

I am like you...I wanna see what the big red button does.
