Cutey Pie and Sweet Cheeks waiting for Bruno

Two roos, Cutey Pie and Sweet Cheeks, near our back gate waiting for Bruno, the sheep, to be let out for his daily graze around the paddocks. About half a dozen or so often spend the day with him feeding around the paddocks. We have dubbed them Bruno's gang.
Thanks for looking and for any comments. Some will feel these posts need more cropping. However I wanted to capture the roos in their natural setting with some background showing and not just a tight close up crop of a kangaroo. So the cropping is not as tight as some may prefer. But it was deliberate on my part.

We seem to have something of an identity crisis here! They need to learn that Bruno is not their friend. Bruno is a sheep. A very big sheep. And a very woolly sheep. But a sheep. That's why he doesn't hop around on his back legs (or maybe he does).

By the way, I think both these images work wonderfully well.

Nice photos. The roos seem to be really involved in the photo shoot. The background of the 2nd one looks like a painting; you've chosen the depth of field well.

Can you tell us the camera and lens settings?

Nice pictures. When I look at the photos from different places around the world, it's nice to see the wildlife in their natural habitat. Around here the only kangaroos I will see are at the zoo.

Thank you Donald. But as far as an roo identity crisis on the part of Bruno there is no problem. Bruno knows perfectly well that he is a dog and has bonded very nicely with our two Jack Russells. He has no concept as to what is a sheep and regards our neighbour's sheep across the way as alien beings.

    Cheers
    Ken
