The Season Finale of HOUSE was shot entirely on the Canon EOS 5D

I first read about this in the July issue of Rangefinder. I looked up the Canon corporate news page and found this:

Canon U.S.A. Congratulates "HOUSE" on Completing the First Network Television Episode Shot on a Canon DSLR

Does anyone have any more details and does anyone here shoot professional or amatuer video with their Canon EOS ?

I believe Wallace and Gromit, and presummably other Aardman animation 'films' are shot with still digicams (i.e. not film at all), but that's not really the same thing as House, although the trailer is still worth a view.

Sorry Collin, I missed that original thread and, while knowing that press releases take a bit of time to appear in a print magazine, the item in Rangefinder made it sound as something new.

The time lapse that I shoot are done with my Sigma SD14 and I agree that isn't a great feat specific to any particular camera.
