f you are feeling bored (?) Abstract Twirl is a Photoshop action that is available as a fee download from here http://www.atncentral.com/download.htm #68 on the first list (Tracy McGee abstract twirl) Save it to a folder then in PS bring up actions panel, click 'load action' and select file.

You need CS version of Photoshop for actions, I think. You just load any shot to Photoshop and run the action, but it works better with detailed shots without large blocks of colour. Works better with darker images. When you have run the action you will have two layers. Before you flatten it select the blending mode for the top layer and run through them as the blend mode changes the appearance considerably.

My 'Alien Vortex' in another thread was done using it - this one... I couldn't get Sigourny Weaver's picture

Sorry no Photoshop or GIMP so I relied on Sake and a 4 second exposure. Funny but the amount of sake changed the pictures more than the 4 sec. Buildings of Kobe Japan from a balcony of apartment
