    Watching you watching me

This photo was taken as we waited for the Royal Family to come out of the Palace for the Trooping of the Colours

Good eye capturing a good opportunity. And your police officers are much more attractive than ours. Had you stepped to the left might we have had both Windsor and the fountain in the background?

    Hi David,

You don't say whether you were hoping for some C&C on this, but then it is posted in one of those forums

Couple of things I would have done this before posting; straighten it and aim for a crop or composition that doesn't have the subject quite so central.

The exposure, tonal range and focus+DoF are all good.

    Hope that helps,

Thanks for the comments, all appreciated and any criticism always useful The photo was taken in a crowd of people, all trying to point cameras, mostly compacts. Trying to get a clear view, away from elbows and heads, somewhat restricted the opportunities to move the view I had. I cropped it to get rid of those limbs which strayed into the picture, while still trying to capture some of the Palace behind her. i must admit though, its her expression which attracts me to this photo.
