Sahil, your last couple of portraits are terrific. Love the expressions you've caught. Colin's B&W and your second shot with the PP look like they belong in a travel magazine.

Much as I'd like to take the credit, the greyscale image was Sahil's

    Thanks, Myra.
And thanks to Colin, for teaching me a new technique. I like this way of B&W conversion.

    Excellent shot, Richard! Well done.

About the PP, personally, I like to see a more natural skin. Was there any reason you treated the skin so heavily or it is just personal taste?

    Great job!

While I agree with Ali's comments on portrait pp generally, I think a woman's wedding day is one day where all the pp guns should come out to make her look perfect. Beautiful face and well shot, Richard.

thanks to all for all those kind reply. as much as i'd want it to keep the photo as natural as possible. I'd also wan't to have the bride's portrait as perfect as possible... from the original photo the black lines below her eyes are so overwhelming that i need to create a heavy PP for it to go away. I really enjoyed covering for a friend's wedding especially when i see their happy faces.

Processed entirely in Lightroom 3, except for final sharpening for which I used Focal Blade.

    Oh my goodness !!!...
So, I don't come here for a few days and you people fill this thread with beautiful images and beautiful faces. I am amazed how you keep this on. Thank you, thank you. Great.
    You make feel happy
It would be very hard for me to answer everybody as I usually do, so I ask you to forgive me if I comment the images which stroke me more.

    Hi Antonio,

Thanks for the kind words - these aren't that hard to do though - it's really just a case of having the right equipment that makes it a LOT easier.
