That side angle works really well. The layered rocks, moss, and flowing water create great depth, and the long exposure gives the falls a smooth, natural look without losing detail. Nicely composed shot.

Dan, another interesting image. The diagonal flow of the water works well.
Based on a second look at the image, I wonder if the rock face on the left would benefit from being burned a little?

Different strokes for different folks! As I told Dan, of the two, I prefer this one and I like the brightness of the left side as is.
