    Relaxing with a glass

My favourite police officer again. Experimental lighting - a strobe with basic reflector and orange gel each side, well behind the model. Stripbox in front at very low power to lift the shadows a bit.

I am not a portrait photographer so take this with a large grain of salt. I like the pose but I find the shadows on the right side of her face too dark and the hightlights on her right arm too bright. I don`t know if more power on the stripbox or more diffused light from the main light or both would improve the shot.

Well done shot, although I tend to not be a fan of orange light on humans. Dramatic light used here and with your model being a police officer, it helps tell that visual story. I generally go with less dramatic light on female models, especially in a relaxed environment like this one.

    Keep on experimenting!
