Spring Leaves, Utah Canyon
This image was taken 16 odd years ago with the original 13MP Canon 5D. Observed in a Utah Canyon in early spring. Posted somewhat " Tongue in Cheek" given the current participation in the Forum.
I was intrigued by the spreading branches and first green leaves. A fresh look at the image from the archives. Seems a little busy.
C&C welcome as always......

It is busy but quite pleasant nevertheless. I can't say for sure because I'm on my laptop but you seem to have a slight magenta colour cast on the branches.

Re: Spring Leaves, Utah Canyon
Hi Andre, appreciate you taking the time to offer an opinion. I was wondering whether there would be a response......
I will take another look at the image regarding the magenta colour cast.
Thanks again.

Maybe a slight crop from the top to give something like a 3 x 2 ratio would concentrate viewing on the more important area?

Re: Spring Leaves, Utah Canyon
Based on suggestions from Andre I have made some additional edits using WB, Tint & Tone Curve to reduce the magenta cast in the branches.
Geoff, thanks for adding your suggestion. Unfortunately I have only just seen it so will have to revisit the image to see how the crop would look......
Forum performance has been a point of discussion of late. Not sure what other members are finding but I found it to be satisfactory.

That looks better.
It occurred to me that increasing the colour separation between the tree and the rocks might help.
Here is what I came up with using "select color range" in Photoshop. I slightly darkened and desaturated the red stone and brightened the green leaves

Andre, thanks. Appreciate your time in offering an alternative edit.
Has some merit.......
