This works well. It is difficult to get good detail on black birds.

Standing on a branch is tricky and webbed feet are an additional problem, to say nothing about scratching the side of one's head with the other foot - so well done to the bird as well.

You are ,of course, right but, for me the attitude of the bird was more important .I cannot deny that exposure is also important.
