    Cabaret

Taken during the annual end of term cabaret by stage academy LFL in Limoges. This chap was really good.

    Cabaret

PS : I notice that after a few days of reasonably fast connection to the forum we are back to "click, then go make a cup of coffee". It's a great pity, I like the helpful feedback on this group , but my patience is limited.

    So is this picture.

P.S. I had time to make a cup of coffee AND drink it while waiting for this reply box to open!

There are a few background spots near his arm, possibly distant lights? I would clean up those areas but otherwise this looks good to me.

Excellent ! You've already got the hang of capturing excellent images in these environments! The management of complex lighting conditions in live performances reveals a remarkable understanding of the unique challenges that this type of photography presents.

The capture of the precise moment, where the artist's expression combines perfectly with the dramatic stage lighting, creates an image of strong emotional impact. The violet and pink tones envelop the figure in an almost mystical atmosphere, whilst the selective focus masterfully isolates the performer from the diffused background.

The spots from any reflector aren't even worth mentioning - what importance does that have? The essential has been achieved: the intensity of the musical moment has been preserved with irreproachable technical quality. The balanced composition and perfect timing demonstrate a clear evolution in the approach to these challenging environments.

This image confirms the progressive mastery of this specific photographic language, where each technical element serves the final visual narrative.

The site is slow to test our patience. I am already trying to go somewhere else. But where ?
