Brief Glances - 4 photographs

These images were taken at very close range, always during brief stops at motorway toll booths in India.
As can be seen, some expressions reveal surprise, while others show clear friendliness.
The lives of these workers, confined for hours on end, seem tough: exhaust fumes, constant noise, risk of accidents, heat.
Even so, several of them react naturally and even with some enthusiasm and kindness — when they see the camera pointed at them.
There are no posed shots here, just fragments of real life from those who work on the edge of the road, separated from the world by a window, a grille, a barrier and yet still willing to smile.

I agree with Bill. These are good candid shots. I would like to suggest that, from a presentation point of view, you leave a space between the pictures or number them for ease of reference.
