Is the grumpy one the one on the right or the one in the middle...it was just the sun. I think the one in the middle needs a little bit of cheering up by brightening his face a tad. It has been too hot here too lately that two weeks ago in Bill's event in Tennessee I was sort of treated for heat exhaustion. I hope we won't have those kinds of weather now that we are back to our mid 80°F(26°C).
Hi Izzie......I did not know if any of the three were grumpy, I did not know them, but to me they just looked a bit grumpy, or perhaps bored ?
I wonder how hot was it in Tennessee ? For the time being I miss a bit of hot weather, as it is here at the moment about 13-14 C, a bit to cold......but then I already know.....in summer I will complain it is to hot
.......so it goes around each year
.......
Enjoy your present 26C.......my favorite temperature too........
Izzie stay safe and well.....

Thank you John....

Without the title for guidance, I wouldn't have any idea what was the idea of this photo and I don't know who is supposed to be the 'grumpy' one.
I think there are a couple of basic flaw here; you've clipped the feet and yet there's space above, so it looks like a framing error.
you've converted to BW, generally done to control where the viewer looks - but the shadows and highlights aren't mitigated and I still didn't know where to look.
Sorry, Lew
Ha-Ha.....Lew.......to me all three are looking grumpy .......yes, I clipped the feet, but I was standing on a level below, and had no means to take the photo from a further away point, otherwise I would have landed somewhere below of about 3 meters, I just took the photo on a whim, and to tell the truth, photography for me is just having fun, I don't worry about highlights or shadows etc. I try to get these sometimes right in PP, but if not, then life goes on.......
I know myself that this photo is no masterpiece, although I try always the best, when taking any photo, but that is all what I do, and in the instance of this photo, I took it mostly because to me of their not to happy faces, and lets face it, the person on the right looks perhaps a bit * oversexed * with his shorts......
But that's me, I think I can say for myself I take life not to seriously, I can laugh about myself, and to me my photo's don't have to be perfect....I just love taking photos......

So you don't want c/c because you don't want to change however you actually do things.
Perhaps you might put 'sharing only' as text in your photos so people don't waste time trying to help you do something you don't want to do.

Lew......I often ask for C&C, because I have learned through C&C, and I am grateful for suggestions / tips to make a photo better, and as I wrote, I try to improve a photo with PP, mostly in Lightroom, but then I am also not, as I call it a " stickler " meaning for me a photo don't have to be absolute perfect, as I am not a professorial, nor it is my aim to sell my photos......so the photos I take are for my enjoyment.......
A couple of years ago, when out taking photos, I was trying to see the photo I was ready to take, with the eyes of other photographers, like members of a photo forum etc......But then I sort of " woke up " because I did not use * My eyes * , sort of I was trying to please other people........
To come back to the photo " Grumpy " ....as I already wrote, I saw it myself that the photo is not perfect, also I clipped the feet, because of the position where I was able to stand, so from the start the photo was not a masterpiece anyway, and for my way of thinking not worth to spend to much time with PP etc.
But all this, don't means I don't want C&C, quite the contrary.... I learned for instance from Manfred, to crop my photos for the better of it.........I am always open for tips etc. but I am also, regarding photos , not a perfectionist.......
Griddi.......
That guy's expression does seem a bit ambiguous. It's probably just the sun, as Izzie pointed out, but it could be 'what the hell are you talking about'.
Grumpy??? I'll say they are! Tomorrow we have to vote in the Federal elections (Compulsory or pay a fine) to choose between a Muppet and a free spending drunken sailor.:
I think I'll Donkey vote.

Seems like you have the same calibre of politics/politicians as we have at the moment.Tomorrow we have to vote in the Federal elections (Compulsory or pay a fine) to choose between a Muppet and a free spending drunken sailor. :![]()
Winston Churchill said:
"Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time."
Our present crop of Pollies have cast doubt on the last clause of that quote.![]()
