    Rome after Sunset

    I was just looking at some photos I took in Rome in March. I think these three make an interesting series. C & C welcome.

    I like #1 Stu...especially the accompanying ghost. I can just hear the Alfred Hitchcock background there...

    Nice shots Stu - I particularly like No.2 for the mixture of light. I feel there is texture in there that might benefit from some playing around with; I did a really quick edit in Lightroom which is below to see if it gives you ideas for the future. The basic premise is a general increase in clarity, and a boost to the shadows; I've then given it a slight crop from the right and corrected perspective distortion, and finished with a grad filter diagonally from the top left corner to bring the overall exposure back to where you had it, while leaving the main areas of interest highlighted.

    If you are unhappy with people editing your images just say so and I will happily take it down.
