Re: More Garden Macro
Hi Nandakumar, it was full sun and flash so yes it would be quite harsh. It was (still is) quite windy too. Not really ideal for this stuff.

Re: More Garden Macro
Very nice. I know how #(%*@! hard it is to get good BIF shots, so congrats on those.
Knowing absolutely nothing about bees down under, I'm struck that most of your bee shots are honeybees. Are they native there? They aren't native here, but in many places, one seems more of them than native bees, of which there are a huge number of species.

Re: More Garden Macro
These are very nice. My guess is that #2 and #3 are native bees. Am I right?

Re: More Garden Macro
Hi Tony, yes they a type of native bee (maybe someone on here might enlighten us as to which specific type?) and the first one of the second set is the same subject taking a break.

Re: More Garden Macro
A couple of nice sets Rob. All beautifully sharp and some great colour from that Tamron macro. No. 4 of the second set is my standout. Might be worth a crop left and bottom to put the beasty on the bottom left third.
