Gators, Raccoon, Dragonfly and Coyote Oh My!

Birds are my usual subject matter however I will take any wildlife I can find. CC always welcomed and appreciated.






At one point in the summer it got VERY dry, so much so all the wildlife had to share what little there was. This shot seems to show that perhaps in desperate times they call a truce. The gator is so close and yet the birds paid no attention to it.


This baby seemed to be digging for something or maybe just coating it paws with mud.

Brilliant set but the Gator - no.2 is my pick. Nice as it is and it would also make a great high key shot in mono.

Good but a pity about those out of focus birds in the foreground of #2. I would probably try a mix of crop and clone to completely remove them.
