    Jelly fish

This picture was taken two months back during my visit to a beach. Jellyfish is not so common here in our area. May be for the 1st time I found it.

I wanted to convert it in B&W but somehow, I was not happy with the result so, I kept it in color only.

For my this shot, please share your view for making it better - processing wise.

    Regards,

    Tejal

The image could work as a black and white but the contrasting colors are too good to eliminate from the composition. I like the patterns created by the surf and perhaps the left section could be cropped for an interesting black and white. The right hand lower corner has very good reflected light and that also would make for interesting experimentation.

Thanks John for your input. Left section to eliminate, does it mean to keep square crop ? I will try ...

    Hi Tejal,

I mean the left section could be a separate composition, just the waves and patterns. I think each sector has an interesting pattern formed by the sand and water.

I find the patterns on the sand quite fascinating. Even without the Jellyfish! If I saw this Jellyfish off the UK I would say it was a Compass Jellyfish Chrysaora.
