    nice stark contrast.

I took the liberty of cropping to bring out the windmills more, not sure it worked though:

    Ted,

Thanks for the effort, perhaps a portrait crop, I'll give it a try.

I like the original better, John and Ted...The clouds play a very good part of the scenario and the environment for this shot...gotta love that!

Certainly the vertical frame for me John if your main subject is wind generators. I also like your first edit with lovely clouds as a landscape image.Nice conversions

    Hi Binnur,

The clouds are the main attraction for me, the water and the wind generators are secondary elements which have their own mystique. Thanks for commenting.

Totally agree John, I prefer the portrait crop myself.

    Nice shot!

I'm with Binnur and Matt. Definitely the portrait crop. It does justice to the sky!

Since the water and wind generators are secondary elements compared to the clouds, how about a more extensive crop to move the generators over and to reduce the amount of foreground grass to lessen it's dominance (by contrast) over the clouds while still leaving the clouds' reflection in the water?

Nice, I like how this composition maintains the original shape of the main cloud.
