Indian Mongoose
Indian Mongoose
Canon EOS 7D | EF70-200mm F2.8L IS II USM
ISO 400 | 1/250 | F2.8 @ 190mm
(I understand that the dried leaf in the foreground is a distraction but there was nothing much i could do about it under the circumstances)
C&C welcome

Re: Indian Mongoose
Nice capture, consider a crop as the head of the mongoose is the star attraction.

Re: Indian Mongoose
Yes, exactly what I was thinking.
If you reduce the leaf by half, or a little more, plus a similar amount from the left side you would considerably reduce the distraction.

Re: Indian Mongoose
I agree with the suggestions but would go further darkening the light bits in the resulting crop and then finally blurring all but the wee fellow.
I can now understand why Kipling's Mother didn't want Kim[?] associating with her precious son ... until it killed the snake.

Interesting animal, Ashish...never seen one before, not even in the Zoo. Good shot but I agree with the comments of John (Shadowman) and Geoff.
