Tried to upload some images in my post tonight...

I had the right images as I have seen in the Tinypic upload, but when I copied the link, the images is a logo of a survival something...so I gave up...

Any of you experiencing the same thing with these gremlins around? It is very frustrating...to say the least.

Izzie, I had this a few days ago.

I had a manga type cartoon picture instead of the picture I had uploaded. The thumbnail of my uploaded image was correct, if I followed the link to tinypic, it showed my pic, but my post kept showing the manga cartoon pic. I re-uploaded a few times for the same result. I deleted my original post and uploaded again - fail. I noticed after each upload, the url of my picture was the same. I tried renaming the filename on my computer and uploading again - fail (still the same url for the picture)

Eventual solution for me:
I re-exported the picture from my software. When I uploaded, I got a new url from tinypic and the picture displayed correctly in my post.
I don't know why this worked.

I just now tried to upload a photo to this thread and another thread purely as a test and it's clear for the moment that TinyPic is broken. When I clicked the "Browse" button, nothing happened.

Perhaps wait for another day.

I've had that problem previously, Izzie. An incorrect photo was being substituted even though I could see my image in the thumbnail prior to uploading. I know that others have had similar problems.

It seems to correct itself eventually; or someone in the background sorts out the problems.

When uploading a series of images just one would be incorrect and nothing I could do would correct the issue. So I started linking images instead. But my last few direct uploads have worked without any trouble.

Thanks Geoff...I waited until very early in the morning when the gremlins were asleep and I was able to upload my birdie images...there is still a few more days left for Week 16 anyway...

I've had that before. The browse button not working unless you select 'advanced editing'.
