Let me in - it's raining

I came home this evening, it was raining lightly and sitting at the bottom of our backdoor looking intently (enviously?) inside was a hopeful guest. Expecting it to leap away I carefully opened the door, it ignored me and stayed perched. Went and got my camera, took a few shots of it looking through the glass and then gently opened the door and took a few pictures from outside.

It's fantastic, great eye, exposure, and color though I think you got the near surface of the back a little sharper than the eye and nose. Also - if there were less light inside, wouldn't there have been more reflection? That would have been fun for this shot.

I tend to agree with Mark, although the colour and texture on the frog overrides my concern to the point where it is quibble and not a problem for the image.

A more interesting shot might have been achieved from shooting him from inside...

I know why it cannot go inside -- his little body is stuck in the chewing gum you left there last time plus the suckers from his feet, whatever you call those. (I am lazy to google the term right now...) Anyway, nice capture...it looks like it is longing for a feed...

Thank you all for your comments. It was a grab shot while standing in the light rain without a tripod so I was not brave enough to stop down further to get more DOF. (ISO 6400, 300mm at f8, 1/60 sec on camera flash completely shaded by lens and hood but a bit of reflection from adjacent wall - a bit surprised at how good the exposure was)

I did try a couple of inside shots looking out but it was very obvious I need to clean the windows and I would be in serious trouble with the better half if I had dared show that on the internet. I don't want to risk getting the camera confiscated.....
