Top o'the Fountain

Most of my pictures are wildlife or landscapes. Apart from seeking to improve my standards here, I am also looking to diversify in the images I take.
This image is of a small not overly impressive fountain in a pool at the University Botanical Gardens, Leicester.
Details are Canon D60, set with Shutter priority at 1/4000, ISO 200 and auto set to f5.6 and focal length 300mm
Would value C&C and any advice available

Re: Top o'the Fountain
Nice capture, I just like the shapes that were frozen in time.

Nice shot, just a question, how far away from it were you if you had to shoot at 300mm??

Re: Top o'the Fountain
i'm not a good judge of distance, but in the region of 20-25 feet I guess. I could have got closer but wanted an angle that gave an almost black background...

I like the image. IMO it would also look good in B&W.
