WOW! Nice details in #1 and #2 is just stunning with those looks in the eyes![]()
Nicely done, that second shot just jumps right out at you.
David, I think that number 1 is really good but number 2 is a definite WOW. Those eyes are fantastic.
Oh gosh these are stunning!
Having made some feeble attempts at chasing these creatures myself, I can appreciate how hard it is and thus how well you have done to get these!
More guesswork than knowledge here, David, but I wonder about it being a White-legged Damselfly (Platycnemis pennipes). Rather localised in a few UK southern counties.
As always, beautiful images (both), and yes the 2nd image is WoW for the eyes and the smile.
Very well done, David! Thanks for sharing.
Binnur, John, Rita thank's for the kind words much appreciated, cheers Kay and Donald, yes Kay they are very skittish, Donald i think she smiled at me because it was the last pose before she flew off![]()
Cheers Geoff, I will have a look later and compare!
Christina, thanks for commenting, much appreciated![]()
Cheers Otavio, thank you for the kind comments!
Great shot David. As an amateur macro photographer I appreciate the image and the background in #2. No clutter there, bravo.
Thank's Louise, these guys can be a nightmare to capture, even harder as you noted, to get a clean background!
