All the best for 2014. Your shot might be safe and unexciting (in your estimation) but it does give a great sense of place

Hi David. Happy New Year.
I think you could have made this image a lot more exciting if you had done some cropping. At the top, try removing most of the sky above the tree and tower. On the left, try cropping off from the left edge to half-way between the two trees, and from the right half-way from the right edge to the tower. The image looks very dark on my monitor. Therefore, I wondered if you could lighten everything a bit. I tried the above in the privacy of my home, and thought the image looked quite good.
