Some other Pantanal birds

Hi. Some other birds from pantanal, not shown in the main Pantanal thread Expedition: Pantanal - In memory of my Grandfather (SERIES).

1 - Kingfisher


2 - Anhinga


3 - Jabiru. This giant bird is one of the symbols of Pantanal. Seeing such a monster flying over our boat was one of the most valuable moments of the trip.


4 - Very difficult to shoot, as it is part black and part white.

6 - Anhinga, taking off! Pretty hard endeavour from its part...


7 - These ones are all the time over the foliage. Wish I had a clean background, but no way...
