American White Ibis...

Dottie and I went to the marsh at the nearby nature reserve Friday morning. The White Ibis were there in great numbers. At one point a Bald Eagle flew over the marsh, the Ibis taking flight filling the sky with white to avoid being caught on the ground. The following are a few of the images I captured. Logged in and saw you had a post and went right there... your fowl are always so extremely well presented. Impeccable light, great composition, and for crying out loud, sharp! I've been taught that sharp is owed to the photographer, not the equipment, but still would like to know the lens you used for some of these. Congratulations again.

All great as usual. Really like #3 because of the play of light and shadow and detail in the feathers. Gorgeous.
