More from the cotton harvest - this time the combines

So, I managed to catch them harvesting some cotton this morning. I didn't have much time because I was headed to the office, but I pulled off the road and got out to snap a few. These were the best that I picked out. Just wondering if they have any interest to them at all.

These are all cotton fields in Southern Arizona. Yes - in the desert we grow cotton.

First one looks best to me. Good position for the main subject plus an indication of depth to the scene.

Possibly a little bit too 'square on' but sometimes you can't get alternative angles to working farm machinery, particularly when you are limited by time. Also, when possible, try some different shooting heights.

The last image may be a slightly better angle but I find it just a fraction 'tight' at the bottom.

Ordered a polarizing filter. I don't know if it will get here in time to be able to reshoot the cotton harvest, we'll see.

I did a few edits - really just adjusting the sky and making it look better. It seems these blue skies in AZ don't quite translate directly on the camera sensor. So - this looks a little better.
