    Only if you have a 1-series Canon, or a D200/D300 tier-and-up Nikon. See chart.

    I really wish Canon would implement this on the consumer/prosumer bodies. It really seems like a firmware/software thing that wouldn't require any additional hardware. Also trap focusing. And the ability to program EXIF for non-CPUed lenses. (Hey, we finally got masters in the pop-up flash and a PC sync port on the 580EX II--I can dream.)

    OTOH, entry-level Nikons don't have focus motors, DoF preview buttons, AEB, or mirror lock-up. Them's the breaks.
