Re: Sometimes it's all worth while
That's a beautiful image, and made more beautiful by the fact that this lady loves it. I hope she can complete her version, and you can post a picture of it here. Bless both of them, and the husband for reaching out to you.

Re: Sometimes it's all worth while
I had to look up what 'paper tolle' was. I think it would be fascinating to see what your correspondent makes of your photo.

Re: Sometimes it's all worth while
There comes a time when a photograph touches the Heart. If you have been fortunate enough to take that photograph then you have given something to the World that has true value in the only way that truly matters.
This is what I believe photography was meant to be.
Congratulations Greg. And a personal Thank You from me for your contribution to the World in a time when we need more of it.
I can’t wait to see your photo of her finished paper tole of your photo!

This is so heartwarming! What a beautiful compliment to you and gift to the lady. This image and hope of a project from it may just give this lady a ray of hope that she needs.

Re: Sometimes it's all worth while
It's nice to know there is still compassion in the world, too easy to forget that when you follow the news.
Maybe ask Glenda if you can post (or PM) her email address here and those of us that wanted to could email a get well message that Glenda could forward or print out and present to the couple. Cancer sucks.

Sorry, had to go grab some tissues.
Greg, if you never take another photograph (and I'm sure you will) it has been worth it.

Re: Sometimes it's all worth while
Thank you all for the comments. I will definitely follow up with a photo of the finished product, I am keen to see it myself.
Jack, I will email Glenda from the Examiner regarding your request.

Re: Sometimes it's all worth while
Glenda has replied and is only too happy to pass on messages.
Her email is gbinns@examiner.com.au or glendibelle@hotmail.com
I sent her a link to this thread and she said she needed tissues after reading the responses.
The couples names are Don and Bev Waddle
Footnote by Mod - e-mail addresses left in this message as the person concerned is a journalist and these addresses will be in the public domain. Otherwise, I would have taken them out and referred people to Greg to get the addresses via a PM.
