I have been trying to capture a Pelican in flight ever since I bought my camera a couple of years ago, but none of the results has ever been acceptable. But then yesterday, just as I got out the car, this one came gliding by low and slow, and I was able to shoot a quick couple of frames.
C&C invited.

. I know when a trawler is coming in, even though I can't see it, because the pelicans begin arriving first and perching on the high spots to await it.
