What card reader do you use?

I was planning on getting a card reader since it'll we easier and faster to transfer data from my camera's card and other devices.
I needed a SDHC compatible external USB/1394 card reader, so
I did some research and online shopping and ran into a lot of confusion;
most of the products I found either

internal
didn't support SDHC
can't read card bigger than 4Gb
had some driver issues
weren't fast enough
etc.

At the end, the list narrowed down to the only Sandisk ImageMate Multicard for which I couldn't find any relevant review.

As a result, I'd like to know which memory card & card reader do you using for your DSLR camera.

I use one that's built into my monitor (for CF cards), but it won't read SDHC cards (my camera uses both, but can transfer from one to the other).

Sandisk is probably THE most trusted name for cards for Canon cameras - personally, I'd have no hesitation what-so-ever in buying one of their card readers if they specified it as being compatible with their cards.

In fact my only "caution" with regards to Sandisk products is make sure you buy them from a reputable dealer - approx 100% of their cards (and who knows, perhaps card readers as well) sold on eBay are fake.

I have the Sandisk Extreme firewire, which is beautifully fast. You might care to look at this site for some speed comparisons of cards and readers.

Like Colin, I have no first hand experience of the reader you mentioned, but would recommend Sandisk products.

Now that Graham mentions it, I have seen this reader mentioned on quite a few sites, and always in a positive light. I might just get one myself.
