Photoshop CS5 Clone Tool Stops Working

After I have used the clone tool for a while, it stops working. It appears normal, but does not clone from the source to the target.

Any ideas?

System: Windows 7, 3 Gb Memory, 2 GHz

Hi Phil,

The usual suspect is if you still have an area somewhere else with a select around it. Next time it happens, try a Ctrl+D and then try again.
