Let Me Introduce you all to Aanya!!

Well, whenever asked what kinda photography I liked, I never had any answer. But may be I love clicking kids. Here are a few shots I took yesterday of Aanya, 3 months old cute li'l girl. I REALLY NEED your C&C.
Most of the shots were taken with 50mm f/1.8, and a couple of them with 70-300mm, in natural light from the window. Had to focus manually with both the lenses, so a few shots (or all of them) are li'l OoF.

Hi Sahil,

#1 and #2 really work well because the focus isn't too bad and the colour balance and exposure are correct.

#3 is a bit too washed out for me, and desaturated, and I think I would crop it similar to #1 to lose the dead space on the right.

#4 is quite mis-focused, it is also; over staurated, over exposed, has a slightly too complex a background and that big blob of yellow distracting us in the foreground.

Aanya is a cute baby, but I'd stick with more like #1 and #2 because they're grrrreat, with good crop/compositions too.

About the dead space on right, I am of the same opinion. In fact I really wished to know a solution for it.
BUT I don't know what to do.. I don't want to crop it out as, I feel, it would mess up the composition.
And now, as pointed by Chris, (Co-Coincidently) the spiral is falling right into the place (or should have originated from the eyes?)
Should I try De-Vignetting? I couldn't do much about the black space... Any suggestions?

Yea! But her mom & her grand-parents loved her face expressions in this one. So I had to do something about it. I will try vignetting to cover up the background & de-saturate the Yellow-Blob...

Thats how you learn right? From the discrepancies!!!!?!?! I don't mind at all.. I was particularly waiting for some comments on 3rd one.
