I would have not thought of seeing ice in India from what Nandakumar said one time to me that they only see ice in a freezer if he put his head inside it.

Izzie, Nandakumar lives in the tropical (and southern) state of Kerala, so sticking his head in a freezer would probably be an option that works in that part of the country. The far north in the Himalayas, where we were does have the harsh winter conditions shown in my images.
This was our third trip into the Himalayas and the first one at this time of year (late January). Our other trips were in May and in September, October and November, where the conditions were far less harsh.
