    Hi Richard. I would crop about half of the water in #1 and may be I would brigthen the ship just a bit selectively if the image was mine

    A little from the bottom and left side, as Binnur suggested, and that ship will appear to be moving much faster.

    I like seeing the person and dog in the second scene.

    I like the minimalism of the first shot, Richard. I would crop a little off the bottom to remove the black line along the border of the frame.

    I noticed the existence of the dog and the person after reading Geoff's comment. IMO they might add to the scene if they were more visible
