Wine bottles viewed from the bottom

This composition has been on my to-do list for quite awhile, so I finally have it checked off. The middle bottle is a rosé from Provence and the two outer bottles are white wines.

    Setup
The tabletop is white poster board and the background is black foam core. A medium and small continuous-light lamp are behind the wine bottles. The small lamp, which affects the middle bottle the most, is fitted with a diffusion sock to soften the transitions between the dark and bright tonalities.

Mike, I like this photo; however my only nit-pick is that you did not include more of the bottle on the right.

I only tend to see that part of the bottle when I'm pouring and the bottle is getting close to empty.

Interesting concept to photograph the part of the wine bottle most people pay little attention to.

My wife's first comment immediately upon seeing the photo was that she didn't know wine bottles look like that on the bottom. I then thought to myself, "mission accomplished."

Nice colours, and I like the fact that you haven't included a complete bottom/circle.

Great variation on a common subject! I can't decide whether showing more than three bottles or more of the three already in the shot would have been more effective or not. Perhaps this is just right.
