    Crack in Universe displayed again

Some time ago during an afternoon of boredom...I filled a cookie sheet with water>let it partially
freeze then added drops of food coloring here and there and froze some more...result below.

I keep going back to this shot as I do like Nebula images and want a really big metal print of a similar
creation, want my own rather than buying a Hubble Print.

I know that Art is a personal choice...is it worthwhile pursuing?

It definitely is worth pursuing, I've been doing the same with cellulose, water, and food coloring. Nice effort.

Very creative and worth both the effort of making and photographing.

I was pleased when I got solar energy on my house because I could brag about owning a Solar System. But a Nebula beats that.

Of course it is worth pursuing...have you tried jelly or frozen soapy water? The latter looks like a Mars landscape...

You can freeze bubbles if the viscosity of the fluid is high enough to still hold and trap the bubbles by the time it freezes solid

William, most definitely worth pursuing. I can see why you keep going back to the shot, it has an 'alien world' feel to it.

Reminds me a bit of those book covers in the 60's for certain types of science fiction. I'd like to see more!
