i too feel cropping foreground was a bit too heavy because it made it too narrow making the image too blank towards right end; so better cut half or two-third of the rocks....

Just to provide 'balance' - I like the first shot pre crop better than your alternatives. I also like the way you have captured the yacht - it is so cliché to have it in the sunrays, your capture avoids this perfectly.
