IMO, #2 and #4 are just right. Well shot, well framed,
Also, imo,#1 and #3 would have benefited from a bit more at the bottom

Nice images... Dalat is a super nice area. I spent a month there many years ago, both in the city of Dalat and working near a hydroelectric dam nearby... The vegetation (mostly coniferous trees) and the very cool temperature reminded me of West Virginia...

I remember being there; it was about 70 F and many of the locals had on winter jackets with fur collars while I had a t shirt.

    Lovely town, nice weather.
I stayed up the big stairs and around the corner from the market.

A friend of mine married a lovely Vietnamese lady from Saigon. He had to return to the USA and we helped his new wife get ready for the trip back to Minneapolis Minnesota in January.

I warned her that it would be very cold in Minnesota and she said... "That's O.K., I have been to Dalat where it is also very cold"

By the way... the average January temperature in Dalat is somewhere around 70 degrees F. (21 C.) while that of Minneapolis is around 15.6 degrees F. (-9.1 C)

In grad school in Indiana, one of the other students was from Singapore and his wife spent the entire winter indoors wrapped in an electric blamket that she trailed around their apartment on extension cords.

This is a nice set. I particularly like the last one, though feel a little trepidation about what might be going on. Well done.

Nick, it will be very nice if you explained what these people are doing in your shots. I know, they already have a story on their own through it but I have to guess. Perhaps because my shots are more than telling stories and I am used to it...In this batch, I like the composition. It seems that people over there do not mind their pictures being taken. I think some of them even enjoy posing and want to be in your shot. The last one is very touching. Is something wrong with that guy on the ground? And I like your pp too. I am not good at black and white that is why I like looking at them. Somehow, lives in different cultures touches me...
