    Unique use of a pallet

This scene was captured in a rural area of Ohio.

One of those ideas you might have expected to have seen before, but haven't.

    Well spotted Mike

Looks like a creative idea but I wonder why it was done.

    Thank you, everyone.

The purpose of painting the pallet no doubt was out of a spirit of patriotism. America's Memorial Day is just a week away, so the pallet may have been put out specifically as a celebration of the holiday or it might be permanently on display. I wouldn't know because I was only briefly visiting the area.

Binnur: The small print in the yellow sign is just boring legal stuff.

I've seen pallets used for holding potted flowers as well. Nice capture.

Nicely seen and captured Mike. I wonder how many paint brushes were worn out painting that pallet? They tend to be made of really cheap and rough wood.

    Quite neat...

BTW, you see U.S. flags and flag paintings all over the USA.

I just replaced my old flag pole which had rusted out with a new 20-foot model made of Aluminum, just in time for the Memorial Day holiday. The flag that I fly is 3 ft x 5 ft (91.44 cm x 152.4 cm).
