    A Not So Dramatic Sunset

Took this photo last week at Britannia park on the shore of the Ottawa river. I like the way that the top of the trees form a virtual diagonal that points to the sun as does the wedge shaped clouds on the left.

    A Not So Dramatic Sunset

As usual C & C will be most welcomed

I like the image Andre If it was mine I would lift the shadows on the ground very slightly and I would clone the sign .A nice composition.

+1 to Binnur's comments, Andre. I was thinking exactly the same thing.

    Just a very nice image.

+2 to Binnur's comments and I miss the top of the tree on the left.

Thanks Binnur, Manfred, John, Jim and Mark.

I removed the sign and tried to lift the shadows on the ground but there isn't much to recover there. Here is the edit

    A Not So Dramatic Sunset

I miss the top of the tree too Jim but I lost it leveling the shot in post. Lesson to self: level the shot when you take it.

Much better, Andre -- now you have to wait for a human element to complete the shot.... j/k...
Seriously it is a nice composition. I love it.

I like it. Nice mood to it. My only gripe (and I am nitpicking here) is that the tip of the trees to the left have been cropped out. I would have like to have seen the complete trees.

    Thanks Chris.

As I mentioned in post #7 above, I lost the top of the tree because I didn't level the camera when I took the shot. The most frustrating part is that I had been very careful to include all of it in the original shot.
