This is a beautiful shot..good timing too. Even the tips of the branch matches her feathers. Is it Spring yet on your side of the world? I am envious...

I used the Nikon 300mm pf with a 1.4 teleconverter mated to the D750. Lately, I have done a lot of bursts to make my captures of birds. It seems to be working well for jittery little birds.

I have a group of bird feeders arranged 20 feet from a south facing window and under a 30 foot Maple tree. Bailey, the Protector, alerts me that the birds are present. I rise from my throne and shoot the window. The hard part is finding an opening through the dog snot.
